When I worked at one place, it was by a hotel. Sometimes the guests would decide to use the wrong parking garage. I go to lunch, see a car that was parked in the exit gate being towed. 24 hours later I go to get lunch, see the same car parked in the same exit gate (unmistakable bumpersticker on it), same person, same tow truck... arguing with the guy. It became a full scale production when security arrived, and he started threatening them.

I understand getting towed once... but twice in a 24 hour span for blocking an enture garage's exit?

According to news articles
They were transporting a portable grill with a portable cylinder, one or two pound throw away type
They neglected to remove the cylinder
Some how bumped a knob, when loading the grill into the car
So the valve was open, leaking propane in the car
It was not 'on' in the sense of being used aka burning
Just accidently on
Still stupid and lazy,, it takes like 30 seconds to unscrew a propane bottle, maybe less

Then of course they had the propane flash explosion aka ignition of the vapor in the car

Unfortunately it wasn't cured, they lived to challenge Darwin again.

I've seen something like this before. Some teens in our town heard you could get high by sniffing propane. Someone decided to have a cigarette and ... boom! Strangest wreck I've ever seen. The windows were blown out. The car looked like it had been in a rollover, but the roof was pushed up about a foot. More evidence that cigarettes are bad for your health.

And to top everything else off, they're parked in a No Parking Spot.

And earlier
Now we can go back to old dispute about driving with propane on and active flame under refrigerator ;)
At least those people were smart enough to carry small cylinder with only few oz of propane.

I wonder if the insurance company is going to pay, their might be a "Stupid" clause written into the policy.
