Yellow flame is STARVATION of air. You probably have a spider nest/partial blockage of the burner tube. Take it loose and clean it out. Also remove the Gas orifice from the gas valve and blow it out. Do NOT attempt to poke something in the orifice hole. Also, IF the Burner chamber has a mud nest inside, that will cause your type problem. You cannot see the nest. Atwood states to remove the upper exhaust vent and roll a golf ball down. IF unblocked the golf ball will come out at the burner assbly. Doug
Yup. Spiders love propane. This is a common problem.
