HWH and slides

Question

Lost all power to HWH jacks will not extend, and slides will not move. Motor just clicks went switch is pressed, slides started to move then just slowed down and stopped. One slide open the other half way open. All LED lights in hydraulic motor compartment not lite.

Sounds like low Battery or lack of electric to run pump. Were you plugged in ?

Sure sounds like low battery power.  A friend of mine had this exact problem a couple of weeks ago.  Replaced his batteries with new ones, and all slide problems disappeared.Ron

Start by posting what HWH system you have. What is  the resting voltage of the chassis battery? What voltage do you read at the pump? HWH has a nice troubleshooting guide online to help narrow down the problem.

I never let my wife power the HWH system unless the engine
is running, and if I am behind the wheel I idle the engine
up to 2K. to keep good power to the system. I have a SCAN
GAUGE on he dash and power will drop below 12 Volts in a
hurry unless I idle the engine up......tenn
