Hydro Flame 8552 furnace shows parasitc battery drain
Furnace functions well in all aspects but shows over a half amp draw when it is shut down. Any ideas of what I should check or is it ready to go to the shop?

That may be right, about 500 MA (1/2 amp). The circuit board is always powered.
