Hydro Flame 8552 furnace shows parasitc battery drain
Furnace functions well in all aspects but shows over a half amp draw when it is shut down. Any ideas of what I should check or is it ready to go to the shop?

12V DC power is at circuit board but should be no draw (current) until t-stat contacts close making a path for current to flow.
Could be dirty/tracking on circuit board.
