I found a USED 1000w Honda Generator
I found this generator and it is close to home so I can go look at it. The PRICE is awesome. My question is what should I do (take with me) to check it out before I buy?.... Thanks

Some good suggestions but a Honda EU-1000i will not run a 1500 watt space heater on HIGH, might on LOW if the LOW is like 900 watts, It won't run a pair of 500 watt lamps either,, it is NOT a 1000 watt generator. (1000 peak I forget the running watts)
Download the spec sheet from honda and or the owner's manual, Read the manual.
That would be my advice.. I need a true 1000 watt here that woudl be a yahama EF-1200i.
