That hose clamp is too big for that small tubing and won't clamp evenly around the tube. That looks like the biggest problem. A smaller worm gear clamp might do fine. I've used safety/tie wire in a pitch and did a better job than a big gear clamp like that. That black fitting is made to screw onto a 1/2" pipe nipple or any 1/2" male pipe fitting as long as the nipple has a smooth inside edge so the gasket inside that fitting will seal against the nipple. The rest looks like typical RV workmanship. I usually cut out the excess wire and reroute the wiring so it looks better. Craig
