our 2 6v batteries are 3 months old (good condition). Under load, at night, they read 12.2-12.5; that is with a couple of lights, tv, sat receiver, occasional water use. During the day they read anywhere from 12.2 - 13.5, depending on time of day and amount of sun received and receiving. Once back at full charge, it sticks to 13.5 no matter the load until the sun gets too far below the horizon. We have been living on solar for most of four months now and have only run the generator to exercise it. This morning, we left at 8:30 with batteries showing -55 AH (furnace ran a few times last night). It rained on and off all day but we returned at 4PM to 13.5v and 100% charged battery. No time was wasted running a generator. The guy the next site over ran his for at least four hours. Our solar is worth every penny.
