BLINDFOLDED PASSENGER TO BLINDFOLDED DRIVER
"Hey Vern, you're doin' great! The airbags haven't popped yet!"
Voltage and state of charge while the battery is "working", being charged or discharged is like stock derivatives. Only after CAREFUL analysis, which means a protocol of wait and see, can voltage be of any value.
I have six D cell alkaline batteries that render a PERFECT 12.6 volts.
Voltage is only part of the story.
The easiest way to "manage" batteries is with an AMP HOUR METER.
0 MEANS CHARGED
-50 is all you can safely remove from a single RV battery
When amp hours slowly slide down from 0 to -50 it's time to recharge
Then the slump reverses, and the minus numbers climb back to zero
And the batteries are charged
You can handle that, can't you?
Your better half's steam iron is more complicated to understand and operate.
