P12 turns the auto reset on and off.
If P12 is on, its fairly easy to keep the Tri from resetting daily. Just tighten up the generic settings offered in the manual and configure it to your system by asking yourself: When is my bank full? Of course, is easier if you only have 1 batt bank.
Is it full at the end of absorb or after an hour plus of float? P1, P2 and P14 are the constraints, volts > P1, amps < P2 and P14 for a continuous time. All the constraints must be met at the same time for a reset.
As an example, my system with a constant voltage controller set at 15v with temp comp:
P1 = 14.8v, P2 = 1 amp, P14 = 1 hour.
This will auto-reset only on a cool very good solar day.
