Since batteries discharge faster at higher altitude and high heat or low temps I am guessing this will not be crossing the desert SW in summer or driving to anywhere north of I-40 in winter.

If only Tesla could design a truck powered by B.S., Musk could personally power entire fleets.

That isn’t worse than what we have now with gas,oil and diesel spills...air pollution etc. Cleaner to make electricity.

I love Tesla and Elon Musk but I think this is a distraction from the problems that he is currently having trying to get the cheap Model X on the road (ultimate fail so far). Now he wants 1000 people to send him 250,000 in deposits for a non-existent sports car as well. Great way to raise money but a terrible way to run a business.

Current cost of utility scale solar power is 5.0 to 6.6 cents per kWh and dropped 30 percent last year.

The assumed cost of diesel was $2.50 per gallon. Good luck finding that, at least in CA.

According to Musk, cost is some how frozen at 7 cents/kilowatt hr.

The zero to 60 mph time, 20 sec fully loaded, wowza.

No one is getting more done than Tesla. Yet people still beat on Elon Musk pretty hard for all that has been accomplished.

Does Bugatti or McLaren require a deposit to reserve a vehicle?

Make my semi a two seater and single rear axle.
