Hi,
Is it parked at home or in a campground? Plugged into shore power and has water at 35 - 55 PSI on all the time?
The ice maker needs to be below 5F to start the process, then reach 0 or so to consider that the ice is frozen. Then it will start the harvest process, starting a 300 watt heater, at the same time start a harvest motor, that will turn until the ice is free of the ice maker. Once the harvest arms have brushed past the bottom, get to the top, this will close a microswitch and power a water solinoid for a couple of seconds. If water pressure is present, then it will fill with water again. Then the motor stops, microswitch will shut off the water fill valve, and the ice "Full" arm will lower again. If the ice full arm contacts with solid ice, it will stop production and not harvest until it has fallen down most of the way. Otherwise it will wait until the thermostat is below 5F and then it will detect that the ice in the maker is frozen, starting the harvest again.
The ice maker kits can be replaced. But before replacing the kit, make sure that the freezer is cold enough and that there is water present.
Fred.
