I'm not sure of the correct procedure for starting the ice maker for the Dometic freezer. If I turn on the refrigerator/freezer before we leave (shore power) and turn on the water pump, the ice cubes melt into the warm ice cube bin and forms a solid mass at the bottom, before individual cubes are able to form when the freezer is cold enough. If I don't turn on the water pump until the freezer is cold, it seems that the water inlet freezes, and does not allow water to enter the ice maker and no cubes are formed. It eventually resolves itself, but I'm not sure of the best procedure?
