Ice maker won't make ice but is cold
My ice maker freezes fine. just does not make ice. Dealer wanted $800 to fix it or $1100 for a new unit. Gott'a be a better way.

Are you talking about an RV Fridge? Universal Ice maker kit new is $100.00 at Lowes. Could be a stuck cube? Try to defrost the compartment. Bad water valve solenoid, comes with Lowes Ice maker replacement kit as well. Water Valve on? Should be an easy DIY fix. I've changed out three, two for friends.
