ICE MAKER

I have an icemaker that was leaking and replaced it with a new one I purchased on Amazon.com.

There is only one wire harness that matched perfectly with the old one that attached correctly.

Now the new one doesnt seem to want to work. If not connected to water supply does the water pump switch need to be on to get the water to ice maker as long as there is water in the water tank?

Refer is cold but no water is filling channel and I don't hear it running or the fins moving?

  • The water pump needs to be on to pump water to the ice maker unless your hooked up to the city water supply...
