TomG2, I think you're mistakenly thinking that others are attacking you; that's not the case. You've made it clear that you don't use your loud generator where it will disturb others; thank you for that. But a few clarifications; Yes, Honda & Yamaha both make contractor generators, but in the context of RV forums & discussions, when someone mentions either, they are not talking about those, but rather the quieter 2000W inverter units. Of course Champion also makes quiet units; and all 3 make loud open frame generators as well. Brand (or color) is not the issue here, "type" is. No one has "slammed" anyone for their choice of generator brands, only their choice of "type" and even then only where/when it isn't appropriate. This is, after all, an RV forum, not a construction forum. Loud, open frame, contractor type generators used in campgrounds or close proximity to others, as Devocamper has said, is NEVER acceptable. Since by your claims, that does not apply to you, I'm not sure why you are taking it as an attack; the only "attacking" going on seems to be from you. In fact, 2oldman thanked you several times, yet you've continued to attack him and others over and over. Relax, have a beer (it must be 5:00 somewhere!), and enjoy wherever you happen to be.
