Identifying Circuit Breaker

2009 Passport 195RB

I wanted to label all the 12 Volt DC fuses in my converter as to function as the panel label is blank. I pulled all the fuses and made sure everything was off. I left the shore power and the battery connected.
Strangely all was dead except my power stabilizers. I disconnected shore power and the stabilizers still would run. I disconnected the battery and the stabs were dead. The stabs (front and rear) each have a self resetting 20 amp circuit breaker mounted on the frame rail above the stabs. I tried to see were the wiring went but it goes into the covered underbelly of the unit.

Does any one have a clue where the wiring feeding the self resetting circuit breakers is run? I would like to install a disconnect close to the battery to open the stab circuit.

  • disconnect the single negative from the battery for a 'disconnect'.

Seems to be the first step in many a operation while working on stuff!
  • Why would you need to put in a disconnect for the stab circuit? Just something else to fail. They don't draw anything unless the button is pushed.
  • Stabs can have inline fuses, not ones in the fuse panel. Our jacks have 50 amp inline fuses in the basement for example.
  • Stabilizers are normally run directly off the battery(ies).
Look closely at the two 20 amp circuit breakers, are they wired in parralel to provide 40 amps to 12 volt DC distribution panel?

Perhaps those are separate wires on the battery terminals.
