Also available at amazon.com w/Prime at that price.
  • I've been using one from Radio Shack for maybe 15 years. it's a lot smaller and cost about $40 back then.
I use it for checking tires.
Been very happy with it. Have found a soft tire a couple of times.
  • Thanks SaltiDawg,

Harbor Fright is getting carried away with themselves with price increases. If I order to be shipped to my PO Box, they add nine percent tax + $7.00 shipping. Like MPJA in Florida ya gotta watch the shipping cost.
  • Good link, Mex! Seemed like the Canada warehouse just took longer to ship, but less money, so I opted for that. Appreciate the tip! ST
  • Got mine ordered, thanks. How do they do it, with free shipping and all.
  • :D

How does Harbor Fright NOT do it? They've opened too many outlets and some are losers. The company is priming itself for Chapter 11 or 13.

China flies pure cargo to LAX via Airbus flights. The aircraft are much larger than a 747. No boxes, and strict packaging rules. One airplane can haul an enormous cargo - a hundred tons?

Free shipping and no tax is actually extremely unfair to US and Canadian vendors. But US shippers are charging twelve bucks to send a 2 oz envelope coast to coast.

And remember your state and federal government loves high prices on fuel. Revenue at unbelievable levels. Making transportation punitive.Oh please please please Mr. Oil Company! Stop lowering your prices!

Nah. They just bet they will fail, in a hedge fund.
  • Ordered from CN warehouse on 11/11. Arrived on 12/9.
  • Order eBay from Hong Kong, Thailand, or other than by China Post and you may gt it before the next ice age sets in.
