is it safe and strong enough to put 4 batteries in the front 5er storage area. it is metal, and I could support it more if needed
I have carried six batteries up front in mine with no issues. It is even with where the front jacks are, so it must be a strong point already around there.
The actual "shelf weight limit" is unknown, but the batteries are spread out so it's not like all the weight is on one square inch.
