Installing a rack on my new TV cab roof
I just bought a new Dodge Ram 1500 pick up and would like to put a single roof rack on the roof. On my last one which was a Ford F-150, I was able to use a system from Yakama called "Landing pad 7" ...

With the Yakama system, there is no need to remove the headliner, (which I would never do on a new truck)
And I would never substitute their mounting hardware with regular nuts and bolts - that would be a bad mistake.
My last truck had 119,000 miles on it with the Yakama system carrying loads of two kayaks and one canoe almost on a daily basis.
I am hoping that Dodge will come up with the info I need
