Installing a rack on my new TV cab roof
I just bought a new Dodge Ram 1500 pick up and would like to put a single roof rack on the roof. On my last one which was a Ford F-150, I was able to use a system from Yakama called "Landing pad 7" ...

Don't know what you have or want to haul so just throwing out an idea. I have a air deflector that mounts to the bed right behind the cab. With out the deflector the mounting rail makes a heck of a rack.
I'm thinking of adding a rail to the front using the tow hook mounts. I'll tie it into to the air deflector rack and top a 180 lb boat when towing my 5er.
