Don't know what you have or want to haul so just throwing out an idea. I have a air deflector that mounts to the bed right behind the cab. With out the deflector the mounting rail makes a heck of a rack.
I'm thinking of adding a rail to the front using the tow hook mounts. I'll tie it into to the air deflector rack and top a 180 lb boat when towing my 5er.
Thanks, but no thasnks.
I want it just like the rig that I have had for the past ten years, (if I can get it)
I have, (am putting) a cap on the truck bed which will have two Yakama bars across it, and this will make a third one for the roof.
I carry two long sea kayaks, and a 17 foot canoe all at the same time
I can't have an overhang since I tow a travel trailer, and I would wipe the boats stearns out on turns
With the three sets of bars, I can load either from the back or the front, but then for carrying them, I can slide them to the front two bars where they won't have an overhang.
Clear as mud - right !
