PS, My tubing had a splice in it just before it went down through the base of the frig area & underneath. I undid the splice, ran the wire out & then reconnected it. You could add a slice to yours & make it easier to get the wire through.
Just ran the positive (Red) down the grey tube. Did not need to run a 2nd wire because fan grounds to fins via the clamps that secure it. Very impressed with the quality/build of this guy!
I think you & I have the exact same fan, got mine on Ebay last Spring. It works great. :B
