What does the manual say? Where did you pick up this inverter?

manual does not have a wire size. i will run 2 #1 cables. it does have 2 battery and return post plus a chassis ground.

To make use of the full available 5000 watts, larger cables would be required. My quick math indicates 400+ amps and would require 4/0 wire. Is 5000 watts necessary?

ok so 4/0 it is. since it has two terminals for battery and return I could run 2 2/0 from the inverter to a 500 amp fuse then 4/0 to batteries. how do I connect the ac side? do I just use the 3 way transfer switch?
