I didn't see where the OP stated whether his inverter was with or without built-in transfer switch. If it's without, the GFCI outlet is the only AC output and it has a hardwired bonded conductor. The transfer switch version of the inverter has 3 AC outputs, the GFCI outlet and two hardwire outputs. The documentation isn't totally clear to me, but my conclusion is that the GFCI outlet and one of the hardwire outputs have a bonded conductor, and the other hardwire output doesn't. I realize this doesn't make sense how one output could be bonded and the other not, but the manual gives instruction for optionally bonding the unbonded hardwire output.
Thread creep warning, I noticed Kisae has standalone chargers that are power factor corrected and allow manual output voltage and current control. Somewhat spendy with the 60 amp charger over $300, but possibly an ideal solution for charging with a small generator.
