With Quicksilver I used a transformer with bypass to combine 240 legs and render max watts out of opposing phase 15-amp receptacles. I suppose this can be done with an inverter which renders the entire rig true single phase one circuit. Since that time I have never had a single fault on the pair of GCFI receptacles. Bad part is the cost and weight of the transformer. Purchased it in Arizona off a transformer switchgear outfit by the name of Joe Longo's Electrical Surplus.
