I posted that not to say I'm special or superior, but to cast doubt on the 30 amp transfer switch. In your shoes I would email Magnum with the serial number and see if you have a 50 amp transfer switch. I was not trying to rain on your parade.
The 2812 is an excellent inverter. The 3012 is slightly better because of the hybrid nature and the built in load support which I use almost every time I'm plugged into shore power.
