Inverter Help

Just departed on cross country trip in used class c I just purchased. I have an older model Galaxy 2500 inverter but with no manual. When no shore power I can power it up fine and plug in either of 2 outlets and they put out power. It has a wired plug in one of the outlets that goes to my electric connections, along with positive and negative connections from batteries. I assumed that when powered up it would supply power to all my outlets throughout the rv. Why is it not? I can do some basic troubleshooting myself if told what to look for but prefer not to open inverter unless there is an internal fuse involved in the problem. Thanks in advance to any and all suggestions

  • it powers some outlets ? but not all ?

that is normal, the outlets NOT powered, could also have your power charge converter on that ciruit

if that was powered you would be in an endless power 'DRAIN LOOP'

you can't use battery power to charge batteries

even RV's that come from the factory with 'all outlets' on inverter
have items like the charge converter, a/c, etc.. not thru the inverter
addon install like you have almost always have only 'some' circuits powered
usually TV, bedroom, bathroom , depending on where the converter is mounted and how it is wired, maybe a kitchen outlet
  • Totally normal for an inverter to NOT power all outlets.
