It is generally safe to run your refrigerator on gas when on the move. It is designed that way.
But if you are scared in doing that, then there is nothing we can do about it.
More knowledgeable on charging of solar and the drain of using ref with an inverter are about right.
If you are boondocking and concerned with power drain, then buy yourself a generator.
