First, I would say buy "well known" brand of PURE SINE WAVE inverter.
Actually it is worse. The OP might assume that the tow vehicle is keeping the house batteries "up to snuff". Not likely ! The starting load of the refrigerator could cause the inverter to shut down if there is inadequate house battery voltage. This will lead to no dinner and no battery reserve for boondocking.
