Iota IQ new module algorithms.

Had call into iota to get parameters on the IQ modules. The typical IQ4 parameters are listed on their web site here.

Iq4
Bulk 14.8 - 4 hours or trigger 14.6 ,
absorb 14.2 - 8 hours,
13.6 float

So theys have several new modules and curiosity got me. They sent me PDF's as they are not on the web site..

Ill do the IQ turbo first to see if viewers can see the documant. I had to copy from PDF... PITA ill tell ya.....

IQ turbo

Looks like just a higher absorb but less time...

Bulk 14.78 - 4 hours or trigger 14.6 ,
absorb 14.51 - 2 hours,

  • Nice, an equilizer mode for my iota !!
And probly get the turbo for when using the generator!!
    Tanks for the info
  • For my Megawatts in an off-grid environment. I try to time the 1st stage to remain at 14.8 volts for 2 hours after attaining 14.8 volts. By choosing a 4,6,8 or 12 hour timer the charging time is set in proportion to ampere hours. One group 24 gets the 4-hour intermatic while 4 golf car batteries get the 12 hour windup. Too much gen run time!

The "secret" is to find out WHEN the batteries start to bubble THEN establish gen surplus run time needed to revert the electrolyte.

From 12.13 volts by saturation charging I can half percent the 31 XT in 2 hours 16 minutes.
