ABS Module

ABS light on dash stays on. The code is not the one for a constant running pump. Looking for a Kelsey Hayes ABS Control Module for 2006 FORD F53 STRIPPED CHASSIS Vin # is 1F6NF53Y160A13032. The MH is a 2007 Georgetown by Forest River (22,000 GVW). The Ford part number for the module - 6U9Z-2C219-BA. Number on a tag on the one I have is 6U94-2C346-DA.

Tried to find someone to rebuild. No one does this module. Tried to find a used one. None available. At least 30 sources found and nothing.

The Ford part number is discontinued. Even Kelsey Hayes said nothing was available.

If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.

    There are many listed.
  • This place does some repairs on electronics.
    Circuit Board Medic
You could call Colaw surplus parts. They may have one out of a wrecked rig
What is the code that is showing on the OBD II reader?
  • Have you checked ALL of the ABS wheel sensors? One can go bad and it will keep the ABS light on at all times. Most have a pigtail connected to them which can be disconnected for a resistance check. On my coach, the normal reading is 1200 ohms. Anything other than that is a bad sensor. On your coach just look for the one sensor that reads differently than the others.
other than that, there are several RV salvage yards around the country that may be able to supply you with a working ABS module. I would also guess that many truck salvage yards may have parts for an F53.
