According to my local Honda dealer who sells a number of units to RV'rs, the EU3000iS has on occasion been unable to power some 13,500 or 15,000 BTU a/c's. Even Honda says the EU3000iS will power "most" 13,500 BTU a/c's.
The one major advantage of using two EU2000i's is the additional 1000 watts of surge capability vs. one EU3000iS--4000 watts vs. 3000 watts--that's quite a bit of additional headroom.
The EU3000iS has great sound level specs (49-58db--25% to full load) not to mention electric start. If you can verify beforehand that it will power your current (and future??) a/c needs IMO it's an outstanding choice.
