Is it ok to travel with a full plastic gas can on my bumper?
It doesn't seem safe but what else would I do? I haven't used my genny enough yet to know when I will need gas.

if I smell gas fumes as gasoline expands and evaporate I open the window..
Much safer then leaving it outside where someone might swipe it..
Oh, I thought it was illegal or something to have it in the passenger compartment. With a van, that does not leave a lot of options ;)
