Is it ok to travel with a full plastic gas can on my bumper?
It doesn't seem safe but what else would I do? I haven't used my genny enough yet to know when I will need gas.

Without moving my Honda or boat fuel tank, I can connect the extended tank hoses and caps. One gallon of fuel in the Honda and 3-1/2 gallons in the boat tank gives my 4-1/2 gallons of fuel. The boat tank is mounted high enough to be out of harms way.
RedDog2, that gravity feed system is brilliant!
I now use a 2-1/2 NATO style fuel cans with the same extended fuel concept.
