Is the pendant for PD Converter chargers worth while?

My 23 year old PD converter was dying so I installed a Series 9200 converter/chargers and kept the old panel and transfer relay. Everything is good now but I forgot to install the Pendant. I miss the indicator light showing the status of the charge, high rate, low rate or maintenance. I miss that indicator light and wonder if there is a simple device that I can install with out having to remove the entire distribution panel can. If I have to do that I can get to the converter and plug the pendant in. The problem is I have to disconnect all the wiring and remove the can to plug in the pendant.

  • Yes, you should have the pendant, unless
you don't mind settling for slower battery charging at times.
Quite often my 9245 does not go into boost mode when starting out, and I have to bump the button on the pendant. But, w/o the green lite, you won't know that, and what you don't know won't hurt,.....or will it ??
