I stopped by Wally World to get the specs from the rechargeable I had been considering. The output from the AC plug is 23 volts and 240 MA. There was one other rechargeable there and it's output was 21 volts and 400 MA.

Thanks for the input. It looks like a power inverter would be the best way to go if I want a powerful vacuum when camping off the grid.
