I used a tripod the 1st year we had our 5er. Next year I installed JTStrongarms. Very significant difference. Tripod helped a little on shaking. JTs help a lot. Minimal shaking even with washer/dryer running.
Set my tripod in front of the 5er at a campground with a $40 sign on it. Was sold in a couple hours.
