Auto leveling/ strongarms

Our 1st RV didn't have JT's and it was wobbly w/o them. Added and no more wobbly. Got new coach in sig w/6pt and she still wiggles some, but not too bad. Now to go back when we had our previous coach (Cedar Creek Silverback), we knew a couple who had a Creek as well w/ the 6pt and added JT's to it. According to him, took any and all wobbly out of it.

So yes you can add them to a coach w/ 6pt and net very good results. Will just take some time to install them.

I use nothing not even wheel chocks on my DRV with 6 point hydraulic leveling. Rock Solid!

We have the 6 point auto leveling system and the jt strong arms. It stabilizes fine. Our fiver before did not and they do make a difference.

Thanks for those replies. My new 5er has auto levelers, but no strongarms so I guess I'll just wait and see if it needs more stabilization.

YEP, especially if it weighs 24k like mine.

We have a 21k toy hauler with the 6 point hydraulic leveling system and will be adding the SteadyFast system come the new year.

Between the kids at the other end of the camper and the washer/dryer, I'm certain my definition of "rock solid" is different than most.

It certainly is not rock solid. We feel a lot of movement and can tell how far the legs are extended (or not).

On many of the new rigs with 6-point hydraulic auto-leveling, the front landing gear have a slight outward slant to them. This helps eliminate the side-to-side motion that the JT Strong Arms are/were designed to handle.

The only wiggle I get is when someone is at the far rear of the unit, as the furthermost jacks are just behind the wheels, so there is a bit of flex. One more set of jacks at the rear would be nice, but then again these are meant to be mobile :)

We have a solid, box frame fiver with 4 point Quadra Big Foot system. I have a 3 point Steadyfast system. Removed it from our former Cameo and added it to the Lifestyle fiver. Simple and very functional. Only time I choke is if I'm parked on a grade.
