Jumper for Batterys in Series
While helping a friend I noticed this,the jumper between the 2 batteries is much smaller than the ones for neg. and positive .Shouldn't they all be the same? Click For Full-Size Image.

And you didn't notice all that battery terminal corrosion? I'd be more concerned about the obvious lack of maintenance than the size of that cable.
