The video above sure got me thinking: Does Samsung (and other smartphone companies) recommend AGAINST using your phone at the same time as it's being kept on it's charger?
I hope not ... we leave our Galaxy S7 smartphone charging all the time in the RV while we're hot-spot tethering through it to get Internet access for our laptop. Our S7 does not get appreciably warm while doing this. So far this works really well while we're camping in the RV.
Also at home, my Dell laptop with it's Li batteries is on it's charger just about continuously while I'm using it for everything. It even has a custom power plan choice for when it's primarily used while on it's charger - as opposed to being used primarily while on only on it's battery between charges.
If Li technology batteries can't be trusted to safely be on a charger and be used at the same tme - then they're never going to set foot inside my RV, that's for sure!
