Back to where if you intend to roof mount flat then get more than that single 100. Get at least 200w worth of panels. IMO get two 130s for 260w and use that 30amp controller. Also get a second battery or three. :)
If you camp elsewhere in the woods, you still have your gen and charger, same as for when it gets cloudy.
You can carry the batteries in the tow vehicle until you get there if the tongue weight is an issue. You can strap a panel to the top of the tow vehicle too and wire it over to the trailer when parked. No end of ways to do things.
