Then you need only one MC4 cable, the question is - how long. 2.5 ft is very short, almost nothing. Though you can have controller hang somehow on the panel, and then you don't need a long 2nd MC4 cable, any length will do. Cut the 2nd MC4 in half, connect bare ends to controller and use MC4 connectors to click into MC4 ends of the panel. Lean the panel against the trailer tongue, and clip the booster crocodiles to the battery.
