I'd rather "do it right" the first time. Mitch might be surprized at how much energy she is using. I appreciate she wants a small system--however ten years ago what I have would have been huge--and now it is small potatoes.
I think Mitch may also find that deploying the system and making it so a five finger discount doesn't happen may be difficult and will get "old" very fast.
Plus a fixed install works while trundling down the road
