OP HERE.
I'm kinda stumped. I have about given up and think it might be time for the Paid Professionals to do the job...I am completely uncomfortable drilling holes.
I'm having trouble imagining the wires going into the controller and not breaking in a short period of time.
In my mind, I am picturing disconnecting the panel from the panel, and disconnecting the battery from the battery, which would leave the 4 wires on the controller. Now, if I coil up those wires to stow away, won't that put undue pressure on the connections and shorten their connection life pretty quickly?
Here are a picture of my tongue area and a picture of my front storage compartment. The black box is where all the wires come in from the bottom (which hole is sealed with hard, foamy stuff, like spray insulation). That's where the battery cutoff switch is.


I have to be able to see the controller on a pretty regular basis, right?
