There is cheaper easier solution,
Cut a piece of foam rubber from old matress or sofa pilow or one of those exercise yoga pads and sit on that. - AllegroDNomadYou can also get heated seat cushions on Amazon.
- pnicholsExplorer IIThe price - which includes the battery and it's charger - seems too good to be true. I wonder what their quality is at those prices?
Otherwise, they look like a great idea. We carry chairs like those in our RV anyway, just not heated.
Click around on the website and notice that the company also sells a heated pad for use on stadium seats - which might have another great use for RV camping without hookups in chilly wheather - how about using the stadium seat heater under the covers in your bed. The stadium heater pad runs about 6 hours on it's battery pack. - FizzExplorerThe problem with sitting around a campfire on a cold night is you either burn your knees because you're to close or freeze your back because you're to far.
Also, no campfire when you sit on the deck late at nigh stargazing. - wa8yxmExplorer IIIGee I thought you warmed that part of the anatomy with "The board of education".
No I do not recommend that.
Looks like a neat item. Don't' want one but looks like a neat item. - MEXICOWANDERERExplorerHeat rises by convection. So it will rise both inside of clothing and enters shirts not tucked in. Nothing silly about this idea. Comfort is tricky. Found out after I bought a soft insulated cap I went from chills to perspiration. Build two campfires sit in between with much smaller fires and enjoy radiant heat both sides.

Much simpler solution - set a piece of Reflectix on any camp chair and you'll be much warmer sitting around the campfire on a cold night. :B - gboppExplorerAre these chairs going to replace campfires? :B
- vermilyeExplorerI have one that works for the other end of the season - a built in fan that blows on your back...
- 3_tonsExplorer IIII’m all in for cold weather comfort but wont trade my comfy CW foldable rocker for any hammock style chair...
