Fuel cans and containers are color coded RED is used for Gasoline and fuels like it, Now back in the 70s' Disel was Green, but today I think tney use a different color.
The easy way is to carry both the proper Diesel fuel can and gas cans, never put the wrong fuel in the wrong can and that way you know.. Know the color code. (Things they teach farm boys).
Now a question.. Why a propane Genny, They make diesel Gennies.. I know. I have seen several of them in assorted sizes from RV all the way up to POLICE DISPATCH CENTER AND CRIME LAB size.
