One gallon of gas mixed with 50 gallons of diesel is not going to kill your diesel engine.
While recently in Iceland driving a rented diesel Land Cruiser I noticed that wherever we went, the green gas pump nozzles were universally for gasoline and the black nozzles for diesel.
Diesel handles at many, but not all stations are YELLOW around here.
Before Hess became Speedway, ALL the handles were green, because green was the company color.
Why people keep insisting that there is some sort of international color standard for fuel pump handles, I do not know.
