From what I read, CO2 doesn't really poison you - but at high concentrations you black out and die because you can't breath it.
Eventually it could be what will kill us all. CO2 from 1950 and on.
CO is more "damaging", with long lasting effects (read - forever), somewhat similar to stroke.
