Interesting. It just occurred to me that your perspective on this issue (kitchen sink connected to the black tank) would most likely be swayed by how much you use your kitchen sink and shower.
We (two of us) tend to cook two good meals a day and use the kitchen sink to clean up afterwards. My toy hauler has a 26 gal. black tank and a 38 gallon grey tank. After two days, our black tank was about 2/3 full, the grey tank about 1/3 full. To balance things out, I guess we may need to put a higher priority on taking showers vs. eating, cleaning the dishes and . . . :)
